About Jodi

Singer/Songwriter · Watercolor Artist · Caregiver

Jodi began playing piano at six and added guitar at sixteen, learning to sing in her family, in church, and in school choirs. When she picked up the guitar, she started setting the Psalms to music in a soothing, reflective style that became her signature. Over the years she served wherever she was needed — leading worship, singing solos, or playing piano and synthesizer.

She and her husband, Uno, a Navy veteran, spent a decade in Nashville to be part of the songwriting community. During those years she wrote songs of faith and shared them at Liberty United Methodist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee. When they returned to Wisconsin, she and Uno led worship together at a Friday night coffeehouse ministry.

Throughout her career as a nurse and data consultant, Jodi continued writing songs to express what is often hard to say out loud — letting music hold the weight of life’s joys and losses. After retiring to care full‑time for her husband, her songwriting shifted again. The caregiving journey opened a new chapter of honesty, grief, humor, and resilience, and the songs that emerged began to validate the experiences so many caregivers carry quietly.

Her music now blends faith, caregiving, and everyday courage — created to encourage, connect, and remind listeners that hope is always worth finding.
